Lupins!

Lupins are a June flower. By July, they are beginning to fade and by mid month, they’ve made way for things like Queen Anne’s Lace. There is a marvellous field nearby, along a country road that fills with lupins, particularly the purple ones (they come in purple, pink and white).  Here they are past their glory and days away from disappearing, but for the moment, still fragrant and adding colour to the landscape.
