It was a hot summer day, the sky was blue, we sat on the deck enjoying the view, when this one black cloud appeared in the middle of the scene. On both sides of this cloud, really, blue sky. We could see the rain on the other side underneath the dark cloud, and, as we watched, it moved to the left, the rain dragging behind. A single lightning bolt and crack of thunder added a little extra drama. It was a very interesting thing to watch.
The fellow’s uncle showed up a while later to take that sailboat in the image out for its maiden voyage. He asked if it had rained very hard. Nope.Not on our side of the bay, anyway.
