A sheep in fog — it tickles me to be in a scene like this, especially with a camera so that I can remind myself of it later. Brier Island Lodge in Nova Scotia has a little herd of sheep to keep the lawn nice and trimmed. On this foggy morning, this individual was likewise enjoying the landscape. When not shooting with a tripod, I often take a few consecutive shots in case I am not steady enough. Two shots here had the sheep unmoved…except for one ear. Ever go through photos and find yourself flicking back and forth between them, making an animation? Right. I decided to make a gif animation out of this one just because it’s so dang cute and this is an easy thing in Photoshop. Photoshop will even do some tweening. The movement loops 10 times. If you want to see it continue, you’ll need to refresh your browser. With Safari I find that I need to empty the cache before reloading. You can do this by going up to the menu bar>Develop>Empty Cache. For other browsers, Google how to do it if you can’t find how to empty the cache — its location varies with browser, OS and browser version.
