It’s amazing to see these things swim! This beaver would go above water, gnaw down and fetch some sticks, then work on building its dam. After it got tired of playing with sticks, it then tried to gnaw down the metal pole holding the bird feeder in its enclosure. Maybe it had decided it wanted stronger building material. Regardless, while it gave it the ol’ college try, it did not meet with success on that front.
