If you travel by plane, have a window seat, but don’t look out the window, what’s wrong wit’cha! It’s the most amazing view you can have without travelling to the Space Station!
This is Yosemite’s Half Dome. On my last flight to San Francisco, we had an amazing pilot who welcomed us to California as we flew over the invisible border and pointed out some well-known areas, including Yosemite. It’s the little touches that add to an experience. Now, if only they made the windows better for photography! You can see some areas of distortion in this image, but, regardless, I still love this shot. The inconvenience of air travel can be mitigated by making the most out of the experience. For me, this is appreciating our planet from a better than bird’s eye view.
