Went to a place called Halls Road on Monday morning, as I wanted to test the D4 (camera) with fast-moving objects and little birds certainly fit the bill. You have a second or less with your subject before being left with an empty branch. This Nuthatch was very obliging, as he stuck around for maybe 2 seconds (males can be identified by the black crown; females would be more grey). I wish the D4 camera’s focusing points were distributed further out from the center than they area, but have no complaints about how quickly it focuses on a subject.
