Barn!

Frustrated as I get sometimes about the fellow not often stopping to indulge my photography (this is another “drive-by” shooting), the fact is that we probably would never get from point A to point B in a timely fashion if he did stop every time I “needed” him to. Though…it would be nice to be a little slower more often.

Not the best time of day for photography, perhaps, but I love the shadows on this barn as well as the texture and that amazing old tree in front of it. It would have done well by my 24m lens if I had been able to change to that and retake the scene.

I’d also love to see what happens during magic light. Too bad I didn’t start driving until the end of the summer, but it’s something to look forward to next year. (For any who might be new here, we spent the summer in Nova Scotia. This is somewhere between Amherst and Pugwash.)
