… say it with me, “It’s a moose!” It would have been even more cool if there had been a “beware of moose” sign in view, but, oh well, can’t have everything. This is only the second time I’ve ever seen one crossing a road. Actually, the first: the last time, we saw a moose standing in the middle of the road then saunter off as we approached, so can’t say for sure that it actually crossed.
I didn’t yet have my camera set up for highway photography at this point and I was madly changing settings as I was pointing through the windshield shooting. Shutter speed was too slow, the curvature of the window didn’t help, but .. it’s a moose! This was in New Brunswick, not too far from Bouctouche. (If you expected this blog to be sequential, you’ll be disappointed!)
