Because we were feeling naughty, we headed to the badlands on Monday before heading to Thanksgiving Dinner with family (they were kind of in the same area). I wanted to take full advantage of that fancy D4 while I had it; however…this is all we took. This was a drive-by shooting and it took us ages to pass through the area to make an escape — the place was absolutely nuts! It was a narrow road to begin with, but had cars lining both sides for as long as you could see. And there were a few policemen there to hand out tickets to those who thought they had the right to park wherever they felt, even when parking inappropriately.
